Project Description: The renovation will include construction of the privately funded Norma Cannon Palms Rose Garden pavilion, located in the east walled garden of Lieber College on the historic Horseshoe. Inspired by former First Lady Yvonne Russell’s vision to introduce a meaningful architectural feature within the Rose Garden, the 16' x 18' steel and aluminum pavilion with a copper roof will provide a shaded space for reflection and respite among the roses, where former Garden Club members are symbolically commemorated.
